Special/Resource Teacher in Special Education Group (Grades 7-9) – Centralskolan, Malung-Sälen

RESPONSIBILITIES

The assignment is to serve as a special/resource teacher in a special education group for grades 7–9.

As a primary school teacher at Centralskolan, you will, together with subject colleagues and the work team, be responsible for leading the pedagogical work in accordance with the curriculum's mandate. You will plan, implement, and evaluate teaching with a focus on creating a stimulating and inclusive learning environment for the students.

At Centralskolan, we value collegial learning and collaboration. You will have close cooperation with your colleagues to develop teaching and create the best possible conditions for student learning. The work also includes assessment and documentation of students' knowledge development, as well as active participation in the school's development work.

We continuously work to develop accessible learning environments and language- and knowledge-developing working methods, and we are looking for an engaged teacher who wants to be part of this work.

QUALIFICATIONS

We are looking for someone who:

• is a qualified and licensed teacher,
• has specific competence regarding students in need of special support,
• has a special eye for mathematics and science (NO) subjects,
• is a clear leader in the classroom who plans teaching based on students' conditions,
• has a good attitude and a good ability to establish and develop relationships with students, guardians, and colleagues,
• understands that good relationships promote the entire teaching situation and create security for you and your students,
• is inspired by young people's curiosity and engagement and thereby contributes to active learning for each individual student,
• is flexible regarding all daily and long-term changes that are part of the pedagogical work.
